The battery management system is equipped with an integrated communication interface for direct communication with the vehicle's on-board networks. The information is transmitted e.g. via CAN, LIN, or Ethernet. There is also the possibility of telemetric remote monitoring or online system diagnosis for optimal monitoring of the vehicle fleet.
